Willis Australia Strengthens West Australian Capabilities

With Appointment of New General Manager

Perth, WA, October 2, 2013 – Willis Group Holdings (NYSE:WSH), the global risk adviser, insurance and reinsurance broker, is pleased to announce the appointment of Neil Gray to the role of General Manager - Western Australia, effective immediately. Based in Perth, he reports to Tony Barber, Deputy CEO of Willis Australia.

Gray has responsibility for Willis Perth's day-to-day operations, and will play a key role in major account servicing, business development and underwriter dealings, ensuring that local clients are provided with the full range of Willis' global resources to meet their risk management needs.

In addition to his role as State General Manager, Gray joins Willis' senior leaders as a member of the Australasian Executive team, contributing his expertise to help with business growth and client retention nationally.

Commenting on Gray's commencement, Barber said, “The appointment of Neil to this pivotal role demonstrates our ongoing commitment to clients in Western Australia. He is a highly experienced, corporate-focused industry professional with an in-depth knowledge of the WA market, having worked in Perth for over 11 years.”

Gray's expertise spans a range of industry sectors including Construction, Heath Care and Aged Care, local Government, Manufacturing, Retail, Broadcasting, Airlines, Professional Risks, Labour Hire, and Multi-national clients with Captives. He is well connected in the broking industry, having been a member of the WA NIBA Committee since 2006 and WA Chairman from 2007 to 2009.

Prior to joining Willis, Gray was Regional Manager for PSC (McKenna Hampton). Previously, he headed up OAMPS WA and SA operations for almost six years, as Western Region Manager. Before moving to Australia, Gray worked for Marsh UK in senior roles such Head of Office and Regional Service Director. He began his insurance career as a property and casualty underwriter.
