Insurance Cover Includes:
Advanced Loss of Profits
Indemnity against loss of projected profit following
a delay in the commencement of a commercial operation
caused by a material damage or loss during the construction
period.
Construction All Risks
Every company registered in Ireland must have at least
one resident director, if not a bond must be arranged
to comply with Section 43 of the Companies (Amendment)
(No.2) Act 1999 (Bonding) Order 2000
Non- Negligence
Cover against damage to other property (other than
the works) caused by building works where there is collapse,
subsidence, vibration, weakening, removal of support
or the lowering of a water table.
Decennial Insurance/Latent Defects Insurance/Inherent
Defects Insurance
Cover in respect of physical damage to insured premises
caused by an inherent defect in the design, materials
or construction of the structure, which is discovered
and notified, to Insurers during the period of insurance.
Policies also cover the imminent threat of collapse
arising out of the inherent defect. Cover lasts up to
ten years and commences on issue of the certificate
of practical completion of the new building. A single
premium is charged at inception.
