Willis China Again Achieves Top Quality Rating
CIRC Shanghai Assigns Willis Top Rating in Quality Review for
London, UK, August 2, 2010 — Willis Group Holdings (NYSE: WSH), the global insurance broker, announced today
that it has once again been rated the highest quality insurance broker by the Shanghai China
Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC Shanghai) and the Shanghai Insurance Association (SIA) in their annual review of
licensed insurance brokers operating in Shanghai. This is the third year in a row the broker
has received this accolade.
Each year, the CIRC Shanghai evaluates intermediaries in a 360° process that includes peer review by insurance
companies, clients and other brokers, in addition to the CIRC and SIA’s own assessments. Brokers are
assessed on their management, integrity, service delivery, quality of work, premium processing and value-added services, including
The CIRC Shanghai and SIA classified 50 brokers into five categories, with 16 awarded the top ranking
of five stars. Willis achieved the highest score in the five-star category, placing it first overall
in the rankings for the third year in succession.
