    Willis Named "London Market Leader" in Financial Institutions Insurance


    London, UK, August 4, 2008 - Willis Group Holdings (NYSE: WSH), the global insurance broker, has been recognised as the leader in the Financial Institutions Insurance sector in a survey of the London Market. The survey, conducted by Global Broker & Underwriter magazine, asked more than 1,845 insurers, brokers and reinsurers who they felt best represented their clients and their profession in the London Market.

    According to the magazine poll, "The very nature of the London Market, with thousands of re/insurance professionals and hundreds of companies, creates a dynamic and competitive environment underpinned by strong relationships…When we undertook a survey to find the London Market Leaders, we were seeking to discover which firms are held above all others by those that they do business with."

    Commenting on the closely fought battle for best Financial Institutions broker, Global Broker & Underwriter said: "Willis was top in this category…and was described as 'working hard for the client.'"
