    Willis Appoints Hanrahan, CEO of North American Aerospace

    New York, NY, July 15, 2008 – Willis Group Holdings Limited (NYSE: WSH), the global insurance broker, today announced the appointment of Garrett Hanrahan as Chief Executive Officer of Global Aviation in North America, a division of Willis of New York, Inc. Based in Dallas, Hanrahan will be responsible for leading Willis’ North American Aerospace business.

    Hanrahan brings 15 years of experience to his new position. Prior to joining Willis, he was Executive Vice President of Aon Aviation in Dallas, overseeing the company’s operations in the Southwest as Regional Managing Director. Hanrahan started his career with Alexander & Alexander (A&A) in 1993 and joined Aon Risk Services when Aon acquired A&A in 1998. From 1993 to1995, he worked in A&A’s property and casualty risk management division servicing an assortment of large commercial accounts and a number of healthcare accounts. In 1996, Hanrahan joined A&A’s aviation practice where he was responsible for the production, servicing and marketing of large aviation risks.

    Hanrahan is a graduate of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he earned undergraduate degrees in History and Finance, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. He earned his Associates in Risk Management designation in 1994, and is a lecturer for Southern Methodist University’s MBA Program.
