Willis M&A Practice Group Appoints Alena Watchorn
London, UK, January 14, 2008 – Willis Group Holdings (NYSE: WSH), the global insurance broker, today announced the appointment of Alena Watchorn to its Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group as an Executive Director.
Alena comes to Willis from HSBC Insurance Brokers, where she headed up the corporate finance team and simultaneously built an environmental insurance advisory team. Alena is widely regarded as one of the most experienced brokers of warranty and indemnity insurance in the London market and her area of expertise lies in the development of transactional insurance products, advising on buy-side warranty insurance placements, bespoke tax insurances and insurance-backed transactions. Alena will be focussing on broadening and strengthening the relationships Willis has with M&A clients and their advisers.
