Freberg Environmental’s (Willis Programs) Environmental Impairment and Storage Tank Liability programs provide insurance for pollution events at, emanating from, or relating to the ownership or operation of a fixed-facility. Our program is designed to handle a wide range of facilities under an array of coverage scenarios.
The standard Environmental Impairment Liability (EIL) policy provides 3 main coverage parts, onsite cleanup, third party liability and defense (inside the limit). The EIL policy can be modified by nearly 70 endorsements, written with terms up to ten years and limits up to $16 million.
The Storage Tank Environmental Impairment Liability (STEIL) complements the EIL program and covers small to mid-sized underground storage tanks risks. The main intent of the STEIL form is to provide financial responsibility coverage as required under Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. Our STEIL form also has three coverage parts, onsite cleanup, third party liability and defense (outside the limit). We can write up to three year terms and can provide limits up to $16 million.
