What do you like the most about working at Willis?

What I like most about working at Willis is the ongoing commitment to attracting and developing graduate level talent. It is extremely rare to work for a large, global company with such a large and accessible support network.

Tell us about the training and development opportunities for graduates.

There are many developmental opportunities both technically and professionally in which graduates are required to participate. I have participated in workshops and seminars on negotiation, presentation skill and business writing that are critical to how we conduct business.

What has been your most challenging experience so far?

My most challenging experience so far was taking ownership on a research project where I had to present the results directly to the client. I had expressed an interest in getting in front of clients; however I did not expect to be given such an opportunity so quickly. My colleagues were there to support me every step of the way and ensure the information was accurate and insightful. The end result was the research was used by the client to make changes to their insurance program during the renewal process.

Do you have any tips for graduates considering a career at Willis?

Do your homework: conduct research on Willis and the industry. Having prior knowledge and understanding of the industry and how we conduct business will serve you well during the interview process.
